Join Shawna Zitzelsberger and Kylie Gillette of Snapdragon Handmade for a Jewelry workshop.

This will be a hands on workshop, where you will learn techniques in making contemporary jewelry. You will learn how to make a pair of hoop earrings and will choose from three different designs in gold filled or sterling silver, to fit your own style.  (if time allows you you will have the option of purchasing a second pair)

These are beautiful earrings that you will enjoy wearing or giving as a handmade gift.  They are comfortable, light weight and easy to wear.

Materials included:

  • 12 inches of 16 gauge wire

  • 4 inches of 18 gauge wire

  • 600 grit Wet/Dry sandpaper

  • 0000 steel wool for polishing

  • One specialty drink

 Shawna Zitzelsberger and Kylie Gillette are cousins who have loved making jewelry together for many years. Shawna has a BFA in Art with an emphasis in Silver Smithing from Cal State Fullerton. Making jewelry has been her passion since high school, when she took her first jewelry making class. Kylie is also an artist with a degree from Salt Lake Community College in Graphic Design.
